  • In case of deposit splitting, the transferor is generally recognized as the one entitled to deposit insurance

TAXATION OF EMPLOYEES’ BENEFITS


  • Some benefits provided by employer to employees are not subject to tax

  • De minimis benefits are privileges of relatively small value and provided by the employer to employees

  • De minimis benefits constitutes an additional salary that is not deducted as withholding tax on compensation

NUISANCE


  • Nuisance applies to almost all ways which have interfered with the rights of the citizens, either in person, property, the enjoyment of his property, or his comfort.

  • Nuisance may either be public or private.

  • The abatement of a nuisance does not preclude the right of any person injured to recover damages for its past existence.
