WHEN TO RENEGOTIATE A COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT?


  • A Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) shall, insofar as the representation aspect is concerned, be for a term of five (5) years

  • The economic provisions of the CBA shall be renegotiated not later than three (3) years after its execution

  • Questioning the majority status of the incumbent bargaining agent outside of the sixty-day before the expiration of the CBA is not allowed

CLASSES OF ALIENS WHO ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ENTER IN THE PHILIPPINES

  • The Commissioner of Immigration may not allow the entry of an alien in the Philippines

  • Any alien seeking admission into the Philippines may be required to testify under oath on matters relating to his admissibility

  • It is incumbent upon the alien to prove that he is allowed to enter in the Philippines

REQUIREMENTS UNDER REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT TRUST (REIT)


  • A REIT shall be a public company.

  • A REIT shall have a minimum paid-up capital of Three Hundred Million Pesos (Php300,000,000.00) at the time of incorporation which can either be in cash and/or property.

  • At least one-third (1/3) or at least two (2), whichever is higher, of the board of directors of a REIT shall be independent directors.
