Every December 10 of every year is declared as the Human Rights Day.

Linggo ng Kabataan is celebrated every second week of December of every year by virtue of Proclamation No. 99, s. 1992

Persons with disabilities, as a member of the society, have the right to participate fully into the mainstream society. Towards this end, the persons with disabilities have the right to be given full support to the improvement of their well-being and their integration into the mainstream of the society. (Section 4, Rule II, Implementing Rules and Regulations of R.A. No. 9442)

The Philippines, as a member state to the United Nations, adheres to the international human rights laws and conventions, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. (Section 2, Republic Act No. 10368 or the Human Rights Victims Reparation and Recognition Act of 2013)

December 3 of every year is declared as “International Day of Persons with Disabilities in the Philippines”. (Proclamation No. 1157, s. 2006)

December 5 of every year is National Competition Day.  (Proclamation No. 384, s. 2012)

Commerce and Industry Week is observed on the first week December of every year, as declared under Proclamation No. 480, s. 1968.

The month of December is Holiday Hazards Prevention Month.

Pursuant to Proclamation No. 90, series of 2022, Bonifacio Day, which is observed as a regular holiday on November 30 of each year, shall be declared as a non-working holiday on November 27, 2023, the Monday nearest November 30.
