Under the Condominium Act, any foreign investor shall be allowed to lease private lands in the Philippines provided that the lease contract shall be for a period not exceeding 50 years but may be renewed once for not more than 25 years, the leased area is used solely for the purpose of investment and the leased premises comprise of such area as may reasonably be required for the purpose of the investment.

A condominium is an interest in real property consisting of separate interest in a unit in a residential, industrial or commercial building and an undivided interest in common, directly or indirectly, in the land on which it is located and in other common areas of the building.

All the time during which an employee is required to be on duty or to be at the employer’s premises or to be at a prescribed workplace, and all the time during which an employee is suffered or permitted to work is considered as compensable work hours.
